About
I have been working as a GI actuary for the last 25 years, spanning personal lines, London Market, reinsurers and captives, both in the UK and overseas. I started working for General Accident in Hong Kong but have spent most of my time as a consultant in London; first with Willis Towers Watson, and then with LCP.
I have a long history of activity in the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA). I chair the Machine Learning in Reserving working party and am on the GI board. Up until recently I was also chair of the GI Reserving Oversight Committee. I have spoken and written widely on the subjects of reserving, uncertainty and PPOs.
